Medical Laboratory Technician

Medical Laboratory Technician training is provided through Moberly Area Community College (MACC) and State Fair Community College (SFCC). Medical Laboratory Technicians occupy an essential function on the healthcare team, focusing on laboratory specimens and techniques that provide physicians with test results for medical decisions.

Upon graduation, you are eligible to take the American Society for Clinical Pathology certification exam. Graduates who pass are recognized nationally as Medical Laboratory Technicians and are ready for a career in a variety of health care settings.
