You will work with staff to create a safe, therapeutic, and educational environment for youth in their day treatment and residential programs. Available Positions

Youth Services Worker
Fulton

This position is responsible for providing treatment services and ensuring safety and security to youth in the care and custody of the Missouri Division of Youth Services. Employees will facilitate treatment programming to youth (e.g., youth advocate, group facilitation, creation and delivery of treatment activities, etc.).

Education Specialist (Teacher)
Fulton

This is entry-level to senior-level professional teaching position accountable for developing curriculum and lesson plans, and planning and implementing course content and methods to meet the needs of state facility clients in a facility of the Missouri Division of Youth Services. This position instructs youth in elementary or secondary school subjects, and related special education work.

Licensed Practical Nurse

This is advanced practical nursing work in the care and treatment of patients or residents in a facility of the Missouri Division of Youth Services. This position performs a variety of nursing duties including preparing nursing assessment summaries and health care plans, implementing health care plans, instructing residents and patients in performing personal health care, and performing preventative nursing care.

Registered Nurse

This is professional nursing work in the care and treatment of patients or residents in a facility of the Missouri Division of Youth Services.  This position performs a variety of nursing functions; conducts or assists in the development of nursing assessments and health care plans, implementing health care plans, instructing residents and patients in performing personal health care, and performing preventative nursing care.

Social Service Aide/Community Mentor

Join the Division of Youth Services in this part-time, non-benefit-eligible role, where you’ll support at-risk youth in therapeutic and educational settings. As a Social Service Aide/Community Mentor, you’ll build constructive relationships with youth, transport them to essential appointments, provide tutoring, and assist with employment opportunities. You’ll serve as a role model and support system, fostering personal growth and stability. Key qualities include empathy, professionalism, and the ability to communicate effectively. No minimum qualifications are required, but experience with juveniles or relevant coursework is preferred. A valid driver’s license is essential.
