Career Readiness & Testing

We offer a variety of nationally-certified and other skills assessments to help you gauge job candidates. Topics include: basic skills, interests, and soft skills.

ACT WORKKEYS – NCRC TESTING

The ACT WorkKeys© test for the National Career Readiness Certificate© provides the needed assessment of potential employees’ basic Math, Reading, and Graphic Literacy skills, so necessary to tasks in the majority of occupations. Individual reports can be a part of the applicant package provided to employers.

TALIFY

Employers spend thousands of dollars trying to find job seekers; job seekers spend hours trying to find employers, and yet very few are completely happy with the results.

Talify Missouri can help employers find candidates that are the perfect fit for their organization by providing  the ability to search candidate profiles that highlight experience, educational achievements, job specific skills and behavioral strengths.  These unique candidate profiles allow an employer to fill openings based on personality fit, soft skills, as well as individual competencies.

Register at jobs.mo.gov to access Talify Missouri and find your next great employee.

ONET INTEREST PROFILER

The O*NET Interest Profiler helps job seekers find out what their interests are and how well they fit with the occupations listed in the US Department of Labor’s O*NET Online, the nation’s primary source of occupational information. Job seekers find what they like to do, what skills and training they will need, and a comprehensive list of skills, abilities, and knowledge. It helps them decide what kinds of careers they might want to explore.

Job Center staff use the O*NET Interest Profiler to assist Job Seekers with finding and selecting appropriate training, career development, and searching for jobs they will pursue with enthusiasm.
