Central Workforce Development Board member Mark Maasen, co-owner of Poly Lift Boat Lifts, has been elected President of the Lake of the Ozarks Shootout, the largest unsanctioned boat race in the country. As the event prepares for its 36th year, Maasen steps into leadership with a long history of involvement—having been part of the Shootout since its inaugural race in 1989.
Mark shared his appreciation for outgoing president Captain Ron Duggan, acknowledging his legacy and expressing his commitment to continuing the event’s positive impact on local nonprofits and emergency responders.
“I am super humbled to be named the new president,” Maasen said. “This is an amazing community event that does great things for our local nonprofits and emergency responders.”
