The Columbia Job Center hosted another successful Walk-In-Wednesdays hiring event on September 17, 2025, at the Columbia Public Library. This month’s job fair brought together 11 employers and 46 job seekers, offering valuable face-to-face connections and on-the-spot opportunities.

Employers from a variety of industries were present to meet with candidates, highlighting the strength and diversity of Columbia’s workforce community. These events continue to provide a simple, direct way for job seekers to connect with local businesses that are ready to hire.

Walk-In-Wednesdays are held monthly and are free and open to the public. Each event gives job seekers the chance to network with multiple employers in a single afternoon, making it one of the most accessible and impactful career resources in the Central Region.
