The Central Workforce Development Region has proudly helped transform Missouri’s workforce through the EDA Good Jobs Challenge Grant — connecting people to training, careers, and brighter futures.
In partnership with the City of Springfield’s Department of Workforce Development and regional collaborators, the Central Region focused on 19 counties across Missouri, providing skill development in healthcare, CDL, and warehouse training.
Through partnerships with Boone Health, Job Point, Moberly Area Community College, State Fair Community College, and Clement Truck Driving Academy, more than 700 participants gained the tools needed to succeed in in-demand industries.
