The Central Workforce Development Region congratulates board member Tamara Tateosian, CEO of the Callaway Chamber of Commerce, on her appointment to the Missouri State Workforce Development Board.
Tamara was appointed by Governor Mike Kehoe and confirmed by the Missouri Senate on April 15, 2026. Her appointment brings a strong voice for mid-Missouri to the state level, where workforce policy is shaped for communities across Missouri.
Workforce development is deeply personal to Tateosian. Her career path was shaped in part by a large-scale company closure that displaced thousands of workers — an experience that fueled her commitment to building strong workforce pipelines and supporting individuals through career transitions. She has led the Callaway Chamber of Commerce with that same passion, working to foster relationships, build partnerships, and strengthen the business community in Callaway County.
Tateosian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and earned her Institute for Organizational Management certificate through the U.S. Chamber of Commerce — a nationally recognized credential for chamber and association professionals.
We are proud to have Tamara on the Central Workforce Development Board and thrilled to see her work recognized at the state level. Congratulations, Tamara!
