The event also helped build momentum for workforce services now available in Jefferson City. The Jefferson City Job Center is currently operating from its temporary location in Room 350C of the Truman Building. Job seekers and employers can connect with staff for employment services, workforce resources, hiring support, and information about training opportunities.

“Events like this show the power of partnership,” said Sundi Jo Graham, Communications Coordinator for the Central Workforce Development Region. “When employers, community organizations, workforce professionals, and job seekers come together in one place, amazing connections happen. We were thrilled to see so many people take advantage of the opportunity to meet face-to-face, explore career options, and learn more about the workforce services now available in the Jefferson City area.”

The temporary Jefferson City Job Center location is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 573.261.2911.

A permanent Job Center is currently in the works with plans to open later this year. For updates on that, visit cwdregion.com.

The Central Workforce Development Region extends its appreciation to every employer, partner, volunteer, and job seeker who helped make the event a success.
