In order to help protect staff and customers from spreading COVID-19, all Job Centers in the Central Region and across the state of Missouri will be open for in-person services by appointment only, effective Friday, November 20, 2020.

Though staff have been wearing masks since returning to the Job Centers in August, all customers will now be required to wear them. This new policy will be implemented through December 31, 2020, and may be renewed into 2021.

Dr. Mardy Leathers, director of the Office of Workforce Development stated, “Our top priority is delivering services in a safe and responsible manner. With layoffs due to COVID-19 closures, our work right now is even more important. In order to help Missourians skill up and get back to work, we have to keep our centers safe and our staff and customers healthy.”

With 7 different Job Center and Satellite locations throughout the Central Region, we have an excited staff waiting to assist you with all of your employment-related needs. Whether you’re seeking assistance with training opportunities, learning new skills, updating your resume, or connecting with other resources, our Central Region Job Centers are your one-stop shop.

Visitors should call to schedule an appointment before visiting their local Job Center. Centers will adhere to social distancing, mandatory masks, and other protocols for the safety of staff and visitors. Job seekers and displaced workers uncomfortable visiting in-person can still access services by phone at 1-888-728-5627, or online at jobs.mo.gov.
