The Central Workforce Development Region is pleased to announce its partnership with State Fair Community College – Boonville to offer a Central Region Job Center access point to enhance accessibility to vital job resources and services for the local community. It will serve as a hub for individuals seeking comprehensive employment and career development support. The expanded services aim to empower job seekers with the tools and resources needed to excel in today’s competitive job market, from job skills training to specialized occupational services.

Operating hours for the access point are every Tuesday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, providing a convenient window for individuals to access these invaluable resources.

Site Director for the Boonville Campus, Bethany Pfeiffer, said, “We enjoy having staff from the Missouri Job Center at the SFCC-Boonville campus and appreciate their efforts for or connecting our students, staff, and community to so many resources. They are a huge asset to the Boonville campus and our community, and we’re looking forward to continuing and growing our partnership!”

The Central Workforce Development Region encompasses 19 mid-Missouri counties, including Audrain, Boone, Callaway, Camden, Cole, Cooper, Crawford, Dent, Gasconade, Howard, Laclede, Maries, Miller, Moniteau, Morgan, Osage, Phelps, Pulaski, and Washington.  It also offers four full-service Missouri Job Center locations in Columbia, Jefferson City, Rolla, and Lebanon, satellite operations in Fulton, Fort Leonard Wood, Osage Beach, and Potosi, and two additional access points in Mexico and Vienna.
