PRIORITY OF SERVICE
Priority of Service for Veterans and family to employment, training and placement services.
SHOW ME HEROES OJT
Show Me Heroes On-the-Job Training will reimburse you, the employer, 50% of the wages of team members for up to 6 months of OJT. This program is available to service members who are honorably discharged and are within 5 years of their discharge date OR spouses of currently deployed or recently discharged eligible service members.
CAREER SKILLS PROGRAM
The Missouri Job Center partners with Fort Leonard Wood to place transitioning Active Duty service members into 4-5 month long Internships with a civilian organization. Placements are able to be performed region-wide, and are conducted with the approval of the service member’s chain of command.
