Complete labor market information is available for employers utilizing their Employer account on jobs.mo.gov. Market trends, projections, and other information is available by completing searches on the criteria that matters to you.

Veterans’ Career & Employment Services

Join with us to sponsor a hiring event at the Job Center specifically for your company or partner with other organizations. Contact the Central Region Workforce Development Board for more information.

MO Heros On-the-Job Training

Mo Heros reimburses 50% of the wages of workers for up to 6 months of OJT. Available to  service members who are not honorably discharged and are within 5 years of their discharge date OR spouses of currently deployed or recently discharged eligible service members.

Career Skills

The Missouri Job Center partners with Fort Leonard Wood to place transitioning Active Duty service members into 4-5 month-long Internships with a civilian organization. Placements can be performed region-wide and are conducted with the approval of the service member’s chain of command.

Veteran Referrals

We’re proud to support our veterans through dedicated Veterans’ Services. We offer businesses the unique opportunity to tap into the exceptional talents of veterans, including those who are disabled. Our referral program connects you directly with skilled veterans ready to bring their discipline, leadership, and resilience into the workplace

Career Readiness & Testing

We offer a variety of nationally-certified and other skills assessments to help you gauge job candidates. Topics include: basic skills, interests, and soft skills.

ACT WORKKEYS – NCRC TESTING

The ACT WorkKeys© test for the National Career Readiness Certificate© provides the needed assessment of potential employees’ basic Math, Reading, and Graphic Literacy skills, so necessary to tasks in the majority of occupations. Individual reports can be a part of the applicant package provided to employers.

The ONET Interest Profiler is an essential resource for identifying potential candidates whose interests align closely with the roles within your organization. This tool, based on data from the US Department of Labor’s ONET Online, assists in understanding the diverse interests of job seekers, ensuring a fit that benefits both the employee and employer.

By integrating the O*NET Interest Profiler into your recruitment process, you can streamline the identification of suitable candidates, optimize your training resources, and ultimately enhance job satisfaction and productivity in your workforce. WORK READINESS WORKSHOPS

Work Readiness workshops are available and can be customized for employers’ needs. Make sure applicants understand employer expectations and other soft skills as a part of the hiring process.

Our Job Centers help review the applications with job seekers, and if desired, can include resumes, and pre-employment assessments and training services to make sure they meet your hiring requirements before forwarding the applications to you.
