Develop Great Team Members
Available at NO cost to you, we offer a variety of employer services, including job matching, consulting, work opportunity tax credits, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, transition assistance, and more.
Job Search Assistance
Because Job Center staff are constantly thinking about jobs, they are uniquely qualified to assist you with your job search. Staff know the employers in the areas they serve. They care about successfully matching workers and employers because they live there. They are also connected to state-wide employment opportunities. Take advantage of all of the job search resources available to you in a Missouri Job Center.
ON-THE-JOB TRAINING
Get reimbursed for up to 50% of wages while workers get needed training. We complete the paperwork at no cost to you. This is an excellent opportunity for eligible job seekers to get hands-on experience from an employer while earning a paycheck. It’s a win-win for everyone. Employers get the workforce they need and you get the experience you need.
Job Center staff will connect you with the right team member, take care of the required paperwork, and put together the perfect training plan that makes both you and the employee happy.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Work Experience enables employers to invest in their workforce while enabling youth to gain work maturity, occupational skills, and exposure to the working world. Employers are able to try out youth with wages and workers compensation being provided through federal funding. The Work Experience Program allows employers to not only invest in their own workforce, but to invest in the ongoing development and opportunities of youth in their area.
REGISTERED APPRENTICESHIP
Reduce employee training costs, increase employee knowledge and loyalty, and keep pace with advancing technology.
INCUMBENT WORKER TRAINING PROGRAM
Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) is a training service that provides employers with the opportunity to build and maintain a quality workforce through Missouri Industry Training programs. IWT can be used to help avert potential layoffs of employees, or obtain the skills necessary to retain employment, such as increasing the skill levels of employees so they can be promoted within the company and create backfill opportunities for less-skilled employees. IWT is ideal for businesses and employers who need to provide training to their current workforce to meet new or changing business needs.
