Jesse graduated high school from a small town in Missouri and very much wanted to work in the field of fitness. He came to the Lebanon Job Center and was enrolled in the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA) Out-of-School Youth Program in May of 2017.

Jesse had earned a scholarship to Central Methodist University, but needed additional assistance. With the help of the WIOA OSY program, coincided with his scholarship, Jesse was able to complete and receive his Bachelor’s of Science in Athletic Training.

Jesse technically completed and received his degree in May of 2020, but due to COVID-19, graduation was cancelled. In September, he proudly received an official copy of his diploma.

Completing 320 hours of experience at The Gym 24/7 in Lebanon, owners Danielle and Tim Cole were so impressed with Jesse, they hired him full-time.

We are so thankful for the program and being able to work with, and retain Jesse via the Work Experience program!
