The Central Workforce Development Region is pleased to welcome Tyler Reyes, Apprentice Program Manager at EquipmentShare, as a new member of the Central Workforce Development Board. Tyler was referred to the board by Roger Brisley, Business Support Specialist, in recognition of his strong commitment to workforce development and employer-led talent solutions.

In his role at EquipmentShare, Tyler oversees the company’s national technician and CDL apprenticeship programs. He brings deep experience in building career pathways that connect job seekers to in-demand, high-quality jobs. 

Prior to joining EquipmentShare, Tyler served as the Military and Veteran Recruitment Program Manager, where he helped expand veteran hiring efforts and played a key role in launching a SkillBridge internship program that supported hundreds of transitioning service members.

Tyler’s career also includes leadership roles in higher education. He previously served as Director of Career Services for the University of Missouri College of Engineering and held positions within the Enrollment Management Division at Missouri University of Science and Technology. In these roles, he supported career and technical student organizations and helped students move from education into the workforce with purpose and confidence.

In addition to his civilian career, Tyler continues to serve as an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, bringing leadership, planning, and operational experience to complex workforce challenges.

Tyler holds an associate degree from Black Hawk College, a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, an MBA from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). He lives in Columbia with his wife and three children and is an alumnus of Leadership Columbia.
