The Columbia Job Center’s Youth Walk-In-Wednesdays Hiring Event, held on June 25, 2025, was a success—bringing together approximately 70 youth participants and 14 employers at the Columbia Public Library for an afternoon of networking, interviews, and career exploration.

The event was designed specifically for young adults ages 16–24 looking for part-time, seasonal, or full-time work. Employers from a range of industries—including landscaping, hospitality, food service, public safety, and healthcare—were on site conducting interviews and providing information on available opportunities.
