Taylor Ash’s path to becoming a Registered Nurse showcases perseverance, dedication, and the effectiveness of workforce support programs like WIOA.
A recent graduate of the State Fair Community College at Eldon Career Center Nursing program, Taylor successfully earned her Associate Degree in Nursing and is now a licensed Registered Nurse working full-time.
When Taylor first came to the Central Region Job Centers, she was an unemployed student navigating the challenges of balancing coursework, clinical training, and financial burdens. With the help of the WIOA Adult Occupational Skills Training program, Taylor received the financial support she needed to stay focused on her studies and complete her education.
Now, with a livable wage and a rewarding career in healthcare, Taylor is supporting herself and her family, creating a brighter future thanks to her hard work and the assistance she received along the way.
