Douglas earned his CDL, works full-time earning $17.50/hr, a 75% wage increase, with benefits, and room to grow thanks to the WIOA Program.
Kenneth Becomes a Truck Driver (Success Story)
Kenneth is now an over-the-road driver with TMC Transportation in Iowa, making over $60,000/year, thanks to the Dislocated Worker Program.
Dana Becomes an RN (Success Story)
Dana is now a RN working in the Med/Surg unit at St. Mary’s through the Central Region WIOA/SkillUp Training Program.
Amber Becomes a Radiologic Technologist (Success Story)
Amber is now a successful Radiology Technician thanks to the WIOA Adult program.

From Service Member to Registered Nurse: Cameron Hardwick’s Journey
Cameron Hardwick was discharged from the military in 2023 with a goal: become a nurse. With funding support from WIOA Dislocated Worker, MO Heroes Connect, and other Central Region programs, he graduated as an RN in 2026 and more than doubled his wages.
