Carri Hall, a graduate of Columbia College’s Lake of the Ozarks nursing program, has successfully embarked on her career as a Registered Nurse (RN) after obtaining her Associate of Science in Nursing degree in April 2023.

With her newly acquired skills and knowledge, Carri now works as an RN for Ginger Wellness in Lebanon, Mo. Through her role there, she can utilize her nursing skills and contribute to the well-being of those she serves. Her passion for nursing and dedication to improving patient outcomes make her a valuable asset to the team.

While the Workforce Innovation Opportunity Act (WIOA)  Occupational Skills Training program did not provide Hall with direct financial assistance, it played a vital role in her educational journey. The program’s structured checkpoints and support system helped Carri stay on track and remain accountable for her progress.

“It provided me with a framework to organize my goals and work towards achieving them,” said Hall.

By participating in the program, Hall felt a sense of purpose and commitment, which motivated her to put in the extra effort required to excel in her studies.

Carri’s story highlights the importance of structured programs and personal accountability in pursuing one’s dreams. As she continues to make a difference in healthcare, Carri stands as a shining example of what can be accomplished with passion and dedication.
